AUTOMATIC SINGLE-BLADE CROSS CUTTING MACHINE

This cross-cutting machine has been designed to automatically crop marble strips up to max 630 mm wide. The machine performs the cutting operation on a thick conveyor belt so that the cutting waste can be carried out of the machine group: the cutting waste can be unloaded in a special container or on a belt for further transport out of the line. The machine is equipped with a servo-motor numerical-control connected on the conveyor belt and with a presence sensor at the entrance of the conveyor belt. By this system and by phosphor sensors, the machine can automatically perform:

• the cut of the head and end and also the in-between cuts at the programmed measures
• the cut of colour’s defects or broken material signed by the operator on the entire slab with a phosphor coloured chalk.
