The FBF combined machine integrates the action of a first calibration stage with a second polishing stage in the processing of marble, granite, and engineered stone strips. It allows a defined strip thickness to be achieved along with a polished surface finish. The degree of polishing depends on the type of tool used on the machine and on the feed speed.

The calibration spindles are equipped with an adjustment system using electric jacks and a corresponding display indicating the thickness to be processed. The polishing unit operates with a series of vertically oriented polishing spindles that support the abrasive holder disc. The working force is controlled by a pneumatic system with adjustable pressure.
